About the Buffalo Wings:
The Buffalo Roller Hockey Club, LLC was founded in September, 1996 by Frances Ann Edmonston and Jason Klein upon their purchase of Roller Hockey International's (RHI) Empire State Cobras to create the Buffalo Wings roller hockey organization. The Buffalo Wings operated pro teams in RHI in 1997 and 1999 and in Major League Roller Hockey in 1998. It is now the Club's intent to completely man it's own Professional team solely with players who have come up through the ranks of the Buffalo Wings organization. The team is still debating on where to play besides in high level Tournament series right now.
The Buffalo Wings operate the Niagara Frontier’s largest, most competitive, and highest quality inline hockey leagues and related offerings. The Buffalo Wings provide roller hockey leagues, tournaments, camps & clinics, and related merchandise and apparel to inline hockey players throughout the Buffalo Niagara region. The organization is very well branded in the roller hockey world following 3 summers of operating the Buffalo Wings professional team in RHI and MLRH.
About 40 roller and floor hockey teams play in the amateur Buffalo Wings Roller Hockey League’s (the BWRHL) fall and winter home on the Sport Court at the Kenan Arena while approximately 100 teams are expected to comprise youth and adult divisions on the Spider Court surface at the Amherst Pepsi Center this spring and summer with league play beginning in early April. The Buffalo Wings also offer multiple RBK-sponsored elite travel teams, high school and college divisions, camps & clinics, frequent “Iron-Man” tournaments, and the very popular Buffalo Wings Cup Tournaments in August and December as well as the TORHS Regional Qualifier in May and the NARCh Northeast Regional Tournament in June.
